Unexcused delinquencies in attendance or homework, or excessive excused delinquencies, are grounds for dismissal from E.S.P.

Requirements and grades:

There will be a 10 minute quiz each Friday which is not an exam day. Approximately 2 homework assigments will be given each week, depending upon the number of sections in the book which we cover during the week. Students are expected to submit all homework assignments in a complete, satisfactory and timely manner. Failure to do so will be grounds for receiving a failing grade in the course, regardless of performance in other areas of the course. In case of extenuating circumstances, failure to hand in a homework assignment may be excused, but no more than 4 such waivers will be granted during the semester. You are encouraged to work collaboratively on homework, so long as you write up the work on your own and do not copy the work of others.

Your grade will be determined by your scores on 3 in-class tests, worth 100 points each, on homework, worth 100 points, on your ten best quizzes, worth 100 points, and a comprehensive final exam, worth 200 points, for a total of 700 points possible.
