Travel:

If you are flying, fly into Indianapolis International Airport. From there, you can take the Classic Touch Limousine Service Inc. or the Bloomington Shuttle Service. Reservations are strongly advised (necessary) with both options. The former will take you directly to your hotel.

If you are driving, we recommend Mapquest for getting excellent driving directions. Here is a map of the city. Here is a map of the campus. When driving to the campus, there is a parking deck at the corner of Atwater and Woodlawn at the Atwater Garage, and only a short walk to the Math Department in Rawles Hall. Parking is free on Saturday and Sunday.

Hotel Arrangements:

We have arranged conference rooms at the following hotels and motels:

Indiana University Memorial Union (on campus)

Fairfield Inn (plenty of non-smoking rooms, 3 miles from campus)

Quality Inn (2 miles from campus)

Travelodge (1.5 miles from campus)

College Motor Inn (close to campus; rooms of varying quality)

You can also look for rooms at the following web site where you can look for hotels by city, and get a list of hotels indicating if vacancies are available. Yahoo Travel:Hotel search

When making reservations, ask for the math conference block of rooms.

Important considerations: Originally, there was a football game scheduled in Bloomington for the week of the conference. During football weekends all accommodations fill months in advance. This football game was moved to the Indianapolis campus, but people are slow to cancel reservations. Thus, if you are not happy with the reservations you get (for instance, only smoking rooms available) we recommend you check again in two to three weeks before the conference. Many of these rooms may open up.
